I have been in pain since Sunday night with what I thought was probably kidney stones. I've passed a small one a couple of times and was sure I could do this again. Those times I had several hours of pain, more pain with the passing and then it was over. Thanks to PTSD I have a very high pain tolerance/ability to ignore pain. So I've just spent all my time laying in one of 2 positions I could tolerate and have taken ibuproferon.

Today I went to the dr. because the pain has moved but is still there all the time. I am now on a lot of drugs and have a lot of warnings about what would require an ER trip (and I pray that doesn't happen because I would have to go to the ER where they have experience with MAOIs and surgery and that's 2.5 hours away, a long time in severe pain). I have until Monday to pass it/them before I have to get a CT scan.

Has anyone been through this? How long did it take to pass the stones from the beginning of the pain? Sunday night I could have sworn I was in labor except for the small issue that I've had a hysterectomy. Now I'm just tired of being in pain and feeling more sleepy because I took my first dose of percocet. Please tell me stories.........
