I know that one of the side effects of the pill is headaches, I did not know that it was migraines. I get horrible migraines around my period. My doctor actually put me on seasonal so I would only have four periods a year. I had to take some form of blockers two weeks before my period (I do not recall the name). I did not have a migraine for the year that I was on the seasonal.
