I guess I would need to know the extent of your anger and reaction to answer this with more certainty, but this is my take.
Basically EVERYONE does this sometimes. Every person I've known for any length of time has over-reacted or misinterpreted things from time to time. It happens for various reasons....maybe we are stressed, not sleeping well, hormones, hungry, etc. you mentioned that the meds are still making you loopy....well that could surely bring your usual into a more sensitive mode.
So to answer your question, yes, I can relate. Most people can if they are being honest. When I'm in a mood episode, I don't interpret MANY things correctly....I feel very confused about a variety of things.
Regardless of the cause of your reaction, you obviously feel bad about it and can clearly see you didn't act as your best self in this situation. That shows me you are self aware and able to take responsibility for your actions.....you sound like a good person to me so don't beat yourself up too much. (((Hugs)))
