Out of curiosity (if I may ask), is Lithium new for you, Pinksoil? Is it safe to presume that you've already tried Depakote or another mood stabilizer?

My curiousness arises due to the fact that my mother incurred many complications from being on Lithium long-term (approximately 25 years).

I hope the adverse effects subside quickly...
