I can't say I've been through it all....but I can relate to several. In my case my parents always meant well (sounds like yours may not?). In my case, I was very unwell so my parents "hovered". For me, it was important to get out of their house and begin exercise my rights to be an independent adult. I know it's hard, but it was imperative for me and I feel it will help you immensely as well. Do you have any plans of action to become financially independent from your parents again? I'm in my 40's and my mom is still hovering....she insists on knowing everything and that I call her daily.....but she really means well and it's much easier to see it this way now that I have my own house.
