I was given Haldol in the ER when I was probably mixed and more than a little delusional. It's took several hours to take effect but it did seem to bring me down and help me get decent sleep for the first time in 9 days. I'm not sure it was the Haldol or if my body just finally gave out. I'd be willing to try it again if the need arose. I was given pills in the ER and not sent home with a prescription.
