I had a dream that I was the pilot of a boeing 747 aircraft carrying over 300 people on board. A casual friend, who I basically lost contact with, was the copilot. We began our takeoff roll down the runway. Our flight path was taking us over the ocean. Everything seemed normal at first untill we lifted off.

The plane made a sudden sharp ascent, almost vertically into the air but then corrected itself. We climbed to a cruising altitude of 40,000 feet and discussing if we should turn back. Right at that moment there was a sudden thumping noise, jerking movements of the aircraft, followed by a sudden roll over.

The inversion was rectified and regained control. We were just starting to declare an emerancy when there was a much louder bang, by a more violent jerk of the aircraft and a sudden, almost vertical dive towards the ocean.

Emergancy and warning alarms went off in the cockpit and we tried everything we could to rectify the problem, including using speed breaks and the landing gear as drag to slow the dive. Then I saw the aircraft from a birds eye view just as it started to go inverted and spiral out of control. Then I saw a view of the cabin, where another bang followed by a massive explosion had occurred.

Parts of the plane, including the roof, ripped off the fuselage. Oxygen masks were deployed but were useless. It went back to me and my friend trying to regain control. By now, we were decending below 20,000 feet. There was yet another bang and jerking movements.

The plane rolled back upright, but then did a third roll over. I had one last birds eye view of the cabin, which was being ripped apart and on fire. Also another view of the plane spiraling out of control showed it irreversably damaged and out of control. The dream ended with me and my friend still trying regain control with the plane under 5,000 above the ocean. A mayday was declared but it was too late.

Then everything went black. It was unknown what caused the explosions but it was known, after the crash, that the horizontal stabalizer had failed, forcing the plane into a irreversable dive and spiral towards the ocean. No one survived. I woke up feeling really anxious.

Not sure what this kind of dream could represent. Don't know if it had to do with anxieties or something else. Not sure if these kinds of dreams represent emotions of some sort or represent something that is going on, whether it is good or bad.
