Like I don't think that my meds are working the best for me. I would like to try adding in the lithium orotate to see if my moods can be better stabilized.

Where it's actually just a mineral supplement, I don't see why it wouldn't be worth adding you to supplement regime.
From my research, you can take up to 40 mg of elemental lithium a day. The lithium I take has 4.5 mg of elemental lithium in a 120 mg tablet so to get up to that I can take up to 8 day which I've do if I'm wound up. I find that 18 mg of elemental lithium [4 tablets] a day keeps me stable.
Years ago before I knew I had bipolar I came across a supplement at the health food store that had lithium in it, and I can remember how wonderful I felt on it. It's funny how that sticks out in my mind as clear as day. I don't remember why I bought the supplement or what it was for, just that it had lithium in it, and I felt wonderful on it.
