I do when I see a new pdoc for the first time. My current pdoc found the notes to be very helpful and had her secretary photocopy them for my file. It helped me to attempt to put my experiences into words. When I go to pdocs, I have a tendency to lose my train of thought, so bringing the notes helps me. Also, it makes it easier for the pdoc to be able to help me by having more information to go by.
