My husband just started taking (about a week and a half ago) Ultram (Tramadol) 50 mg. 3 times a day for hand pain. She (our family doc)is also treating him for depression with Zoloft 50 mg. 1X day. Our pharmacist refused to give the meds to me because it was afterhours at the doc's office and she was concerned about the interactions between the two meds. My doc finally got it straightened out (been our doc for a longgg time) and we got the meds. He is being treated with tramadol for chronic pain due to a work injury that is 5 years old, the depression is also from that. I'm wondering has anyone had any experience with this combination or with these two drugs seperately? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
