I just stopped taking the pill after almost a year of taking it. I think it should be tougher to stop taking it after so long, but didn't have any issues, so I don't see why only a month on the pill would disrupt anything.

That's the beauty of the pill! As long as you finished your last pack, and then stopped, there shouldn't be any issues.
