My first period was hell.

I was 13, and my mom handed me a box of OB tampons. No explanation or guidance whatsoever. To make matters worse, I had a very heavy flow and the tampon got stuck in me for 1 month.

I am STILL so ashamed of the entire experience!! Thinking about it now, 30+ years later, haunts me. I can barely admit what happened to a couple of people IRL (only my ex-hub and an ex-bf know)...that's it! :bawl:
