This is the 1st time I have been on Lithium. I have been taking it for about one month.

I have never tried Depakote or Tegretol.

I was on Trileptal for one year, but it didn't do anything except alleviate my anxiety a bit. It is not surprising that it didn't work, as Trileptal is rarely used as a 1st line treatment for mood disorders-- and it usually used in conjunction with another drug.

Currently I'm not feeling any more adverse effects from the Lithium.

Oh except for the fact that I'm horribly depressed and it's not working.

I'm suspecting that it may have to be raised but I have to get my levels checked and that's a whole other story detailed in the psychotherapy forum. (Post title: "I fired my pdoc")
