Hi folks,

Well, the summer has come and gone, and so it must be time for another community fund drive. We haven't yet had one in all of 2016.

Many of you know Yoda, who's been a member here since October 2006 (yes, that's 10 years!). She is in a tough financial spot because of massive flooding in her community over the summer. She may want to shed further light on the details, but suffice it to say, it's for a very good cause. This money will help her rebuild her home.

She has submitted an application, which has been reviewed and approved, for a Community Connection Grant from our nonprofit, the Psych Central Community Connection.

I know these are still tough economic times for many people, but I want you to seriously consider donating to this Community Fund Drive. I know that a financial contribution may not be possible, so if that's the case, please leave your prayers and thoughts privately or in this thread.

Psych Central will match dollar for dollar of every dollar donated (up to the maximum of $250; $500 total to the member). Every dollar counts, so even if you can afford just $5, please consider this request.
