Since I moved to my mom's I just leave a bowl of candy on the porch. There's lots of kids in the neighborhood but I'm usually out with my son. Though he has refused to wear a costume for three years now so I don't take him around the neighborhood, just to the church for trunk or treat.they don't care if he's not wearing a costume. He said he wants to be a pumpkin this year, which means he wants me to paint a jack o lantern face on an orange tee shirt. That's what I did for him last year after he refused to put on his spongebob costume. He's just not into costumes. So we will probably just do trunk or treat again this year. Especially since my mom has to work so I would be taking him around alone on Halloween and I'm too socially anxious to do that.
