Thank you alex, I really like this thought that they will evolve and develop. I guess that I need to acknowledge them for that to happen.

I think part of the supportive v. explorative is my perception in that I see the supportive as not something I should want or expect, as if it's something outside of 'real' therapy (explorative therapy).

Shame runs so so deep. I keep saying I want to leave it outside the door when I go in. Wishful thinking I suppose.
