Was that guy on your mind at all before seeing the number? Did you just glance at it or really stare at it and commit it to memory?

It could be a variety of things. I have frequent nightmares where I go to the mall and forget where I parked....it's a horrible feeling and a big fear of mine.

I hate things like this....where you question your sanity yet it's impossible to know for sure. I like certainty. I'm sorry you are faced with this worry.
