Can you recommend a good coffee pot for her?
I've used Keurig and Tassimo machines myself (separate designs with
"one cup only" portions of coffee). Most cups and mugs should fit into
the pour-through space where the coffee would percolate, and there
usually is a selector switch for cups or mugs.
The best coffee pot of all would be a Bunn, of the kind used in offices
and coffee shops. Unless I have access to an office supplies store or
a wholesaler, however, all I can do about that is dream on.
