Your mindset and overall mentality determines how you view something.
I was once told: "The mind works like a magnifying glass; what it focuses on, it magnifies."
I have, and a lot of others as well, noticed that the main reason someone stops developing on their activity is not because of some physical disadvantage, but because their minds are focused on the "wrong" things.
I think every approach is valid; once you've created that intent, it seems almost impossible to get rid of it. But not just any approach will get you there at the same pace.
