Some people find that ADHD symptoms are controlled by meds that increase norepinephrine. Atomoxetine is actually a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.

I don't recommend it, but I've heard of some people getting some relief by taking pseudoephedrine too, and it's probably for the same reason.
