My friggin' BP dx was just changed because of the damn manic episode.

Had 1,000x more hypomanic episodes than a normal BPII patient would normally have though have MDD criteria depressive episodes. Then had a bunch of clusterf**kery happen in the last couple of months, which I believe triggered the full-blown manic episode and just screwed me over.

So I go from BPII to "BP NOS/unspecified" on my records because my new doc understands my nervousness regarding a BPI dx but diagnostically, I have "bipolar affective disorder, currently manic, moderate." So, essentially, BPI w/o psychotic features.

Previously tried Abilify to help with mood stabilization. Big fat NOPE. Not allowed to touch anti-psychs anymore because even the 2.5mg induced auditory hallucinations.

Was on Lamictal, but now weaning off of that and titrating up on Depakote [now on day three]. Everything else is staying the say with Welbutrin, Adderall, Topamax, and Klonopin.

Also treating Conversion Disorder/Functional Neurological Disorder, GAD, specific phobia, ADHD, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
