I loathe the late fall and winter. I am very sensitive to changes in the angle of the sunlight and don't deal well with the long nights. I have SAD and I'm now using a light box on the recommendation of my pdoc; since I haven't come down with depression yet, maybe I'll be able to short-circuit the whole thing and avoid it altogether. I'm also going on a cruise to the Caribbean next month, so that should help as well.
