Get help while you can before it gets worse. It sounds like it's progressing rapidly.

At the very least, do tell your mom if you haven't told her already. And I know that a lot of pdocs have on-call nurses or after-hours services. You should call them as well. But personally (if it were me), I would go to IP just to be safe. Nip the problem in the bud.
