i remember someone saying cbt is for the 'worried well 'i tend to agree , it seems 'fashionable' and gives false hope to lots of people, i do think it is good at challenging the way we think, and the 'here and now 'but some folk need more indepth therapy which i don't feel cbt does .when it fails to work a client can feel even more of a failure.
