Topomax made me more depressed. I had much better luck with Lamictal. I don't take it for mood stabilization. Rather it's to help kick that last bit of depression left over from my AD. Still, if Topomax is worsening your depression, you might see if you can try a different mood stabilizer, such as Lamictal.
