Well, the NYT said the rally was in Raleigh, but it was actually here in Charlotte, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus. My mother thought that a lot of people didn't know much about the rally because it was first mentioned the Friday beforehand in the Charlotte Observer. Hence the smaller crowd, and ability to get so close to her.

However, Hilary isn't out to have massive rallies. She is more looking towards making her rallies feel intimate and caring by having the crowds be smaller. I also noticed that Hilary came down to the crowd after her speech, and took selfies and shook hands with many of us. However, since she went in the opposite direction of my mother and I, we didn't get to experience this. She made sure to stop and have time to shake the hand of a young Islamic woman wearing a hijab. Something I can say the likes of Trump wouldn't do.

Not that I'm trying to turn this into an all out bashing Trump thread, mind you. I just wanted to share what I saw and observed on Sunday. It was an amazing experience.
