It might be helpful to do things that calm you so you at least can try to prevent the symptoms from progressing. For instance, warm baths and singing help relax me. That could help you get to sleep as well. Have a plan in place in case things get worse and you need emergency treatment before you can see your pdoc. I recommend writing down symptoms every day until your appointment so you can see patterns and if anything has escalated. It would be good information for your doctor to have as well.
