Hi!
Thanks for making the effort to recall more details of your dream. It’s not a test. You can recall only what you can recall. Hopefully, by the end of the interpretation, you’ll become aware of how much one can learn from out dreams if only we are to take notice and listen.
Below is my interpretation of your dream as if it was mine. Dreams are for each of us to interpret on our own. Therefore, if anything I say below doesn’t resonate with you, then simply discard it. So with that said, off I go…
In my own dream interpretations and that of others, I begin with where the dream is located. I’ve learnt that this is a way to “spiritually frame in a dream”. I could have located my dream at any time, in any place and in any reality BUT I’ve chosen to locate this dream starting in a school.
Schools are symbols in my dreams of where I am going to learn something about myself. I will take the first of several side bars here and describe what I’ve learnt about beliefs, belief compartments and people. Then I’ll return to me in the school.
In my dreams, things that are made by people are symbols of masculine and things of nature are symbols of feminine. I’ve learnt that before we incarnate, we carefully select the times we will live in, our families, life circumstances, challenges and potential exit points. We then carefully select our personality.
I’ve learnt we do this by selecting approximately 200 different “belief filters”. These are energy filters that have two polarities, a feminine one and a masculine one. We select the degree of polarity we are going to hold the belief, i.e. the degree of feminine or masculine. This then determines the belief vibratory level.
Each belief then works with the other beliefs, each with their own vibratory rate. They literally “filter our reality” by blocking out the greater reality vibrations we actually come from. They create the aura around us and create our thoughts/feelings for each moment.
We constantly tell ourselves about this in our dreams. We use symbolism to show ourselves about the beliefs and their limiting effects on us spiritually. We also show ourselves the “dis-ease’ created by some of our beliefs using colours in our dreams.
In my dreams buildings are symbols of what I call ‘belief compartments’. I’ve learnt that each wall is a symbol of a belief. Furniture within them are symbols of yet more beliefs that work with the overall beliefs to produce what I call are ‘belief effects’.
To symbolize to ourselves the many different types of beliefs we use in all our many lives, we often create our dreams in towns, cities or houses.
I’ve often found that in many of my dreams, people appear in the rooms or buildings. When I first began to record my dreams, many years ago, I frequently found myself in large warehouses full of boxes I had to climb over or in rooms in houses full of furniture. Imagine my surprise when I eventually learnt they boxes and furniture were symbols of masculine based beliefs I had to address first before I got to the walls!
As I spiritually listened to myself, over time, the rooms began to empty. Then I was walking through empty rooms. The next step was to see glass walls, windows and open doors, all symbols of how I was beginning to work my way out of the old belief walls. Then the walls began to disappear. In the end, I was usually flying over the old beliefs.
In many of my dreams when I began to keep a record of my dreams,, I would find myself in multi-storied houses. I then realized these are symbols of numerous belief compartments I use in one or more of my lives.
Then I found myself in towns and cities. I then realized that each one is a symbol of various belief compartments I have used in another life.
I will take another sidebar here and describe what I’ve learnt about people in my dreams…
When I first began recording my dreams, I would often find people in my dreams that I didn’t know or ones that I did know but they were doing strange things. When I tried to literally interpret my dreams, it usually didn’t work.
I had a near death experience 12 years ago that changed me. One of the changes was a determination to learn to meditate. I had stopped and started meditation all my life and had in effect gone nowhere in a hurry. So this time I was determined to stick with it.
I slowly learnt how to touch my “higher self”. One day, the thought came to me to use my higher self to assist me in interpreting my dreams. Then the dream gates swung wide open.
I’ve since learnt that people in my dreams may be who they are, symbols of my masculine and feminine, other lives, teachers, guides, oversoul, aspects of myself, people who I frequently incarnate with, etc.
When I first began to record my dreams I frequently began to see an old couple. They might change their appearance but there was almost always an old man and woman in the dream. Then a young girl and by appeared.
They too sometimes changed but they were now in the same dream as the old couple. However, they were “bit players” in my dreams as the old couple was the ones I was interacting with.
At first, I had no idea who these people were. Then, as I learnt to mediate and apply my higher self to my dream interpretations, my dreams gates swung open.
First, I learnt that the old man and women were symbols of my masculine and feminine. Next, I learnt that the young girl and boy were symbols of the feminine and masculine I could become. So I then used the terms “old masculine and feminine” and “young masculine and feminine” to describe these dream symbols to myself.
As I began to address my underlying beliefs, the old couple disappeared from my dreams and the young ones spiritually grew up.
I then learnt that things made out of natural materials are symbols of feminine beliefs that are now no longer working for me. In effect, spiritually speaking, they are now “dead” for me, i.e. dead trees – wood, etc. So, whenever I am in rooms made of wood or standing on wood, etc. I refer to this in my mind as “dead feminine”.
About a year and a half ago, I felt compelled to put together a free website documenting what I have learnt. At first, I didn’t want to because I felt what I had learnt was akin in my mind to a teaspoon of water compared to all the oceans’ water, i.e. not much. However the feeling persisted.
Today if you go to ‘learningfrommydreams’ dot com you’ll see what I created. If you go there, I suggest you look at 3 things. One is the meditation page where I list all sorts of different ways to meditate. Find one that works for you.
Then I recommend you read the dream discussion paper I posted on the website. It describes the symbolism I’ve learnt including people.
Finally, I recommend you look at the resources page where you’ll find an extensive list of things to look at.
So with this said, back to my dream…
“I saw the inside of the high school front hallway with another student and a few other people mingling around. We were on our way to the bus.”
So, my dream starts with me in the front hallway of a set of different masculine based belief compartments, i.e. rooms, in a place where I am going to learn something about myself. A hallway is a place where it’s the entrance to my belief compartments. It’s also a place where the beliefs wall converge forcing me to walk between them..
I’ll take a very brief detour here and tell you what I’ve learned about walking, sitting et al in my dreams and then return to me walking out the door.
When I am lying down in dream, it’s a symbol that I don’t have any spiritual ability yet to even see the effects of some of my beliefs.
When I am sitting, it’s a symbol that I need spiritual support to see the effects of some of my beliefs.
When I am standing, it’s a symbol that I now can stand on my own two spiritual feet to see the effects.
When I am walking, it’s a symbol that I am now steadily moving through the beliefs.
When I am running, it’s a symbol I am moving relatively quickly through the beliefs.
Note that I have found that spiritual time and our time are too different things. Usually my dream time is far faster than my physical time. So when I am running etc. I realize that it still will take “some time”.
Back to the dream…
So I am walking, i.e. spiritually moving through the beliefs this dream is a symbol of. This is good. I’m now ready to learn to face myself so to speak.
Next I consider the lighting. “The lighting outside and inside was very realistic to real life. Inside lighting came from hallway lights and outside lighting came from the sun. And the brightness of both inside and outside were exactly how it would be in real life.”
Here’s what I ‘ve learnt about lighting in my dreams. Then I’ll return the lighting inside and outside.
Lighting in my dreams is very important. It is a way of symbolizing how much en-lightenment I have with respect to the beliefs the dream is about.
Dark in my dreams is a symbol of where I haven’t yet spiritually explored my beliefs. Sunlight is a symbol that my over soul is assisting me.
When I am in rooms with no windows or doors, it’s a symbol that I am “en-lightening” myself on my own.
If there are windows and the sun is shining through, it’s a symbol that some of my belief walls are beginning to be removed and my over soul is now beginning to assist me.
Morning is a symbol I am beginning to make progress on my beliefs. Noon is a symbol I am now able to shed full spiritual enlightenment on beliefs the scene is a symbol of. Evening is a time when I am in a place of spiritual darkness with respect to the beliefs.
If it’s winter, it’s a sign that I need to reflect on my beliefs since they are frozen. If it’s spring, it’s a time that I am beginning to make spiritual progress on the beliefs. If it’s summertime, it’s a symbol that my work is now bearing spiritual fruit. If it’s fall, it indicates I am heading towards a period where I can reap the benefits by releasing old beliefs.
So, inside my masculine based belief compartment, I am both “en-lightening” myself, i.e. with artificial light and also my higher self is assisting me, i.e. sunlight.
Outside, my higher self is shining down. When I am outside in my dreams, it’s a symbol my higher self is teaching me versus when I’m inside belief compartments, it’s me working on my own. i.e. learning on my own.
So who’s the people in this dream scene?
“I saw the inside of the high school front hallway with another student and a few other people mingling around. We were on our way to the bus.”
Who is the “other student”? It’s another life of mine as were the others milling about. When other lives of mine show up in dreams I realize that they too are working with me through the underlying beliefs the dream is about. The fact that the other lives are young is important. I will take yet another brief side bar here and tell you what I’ve learnt about age of people in my dreams.
When infants are in my dreams as other lives, this is usually a symbol I and they are just beginning our journey through the beliefs the dream is about.
When teenagers show up I realize I am making steady progress through my dreams.
When mature adults show up, it’s a sign that I am now spiritually maturing in dealing with the beliefs.
When old people show up in my dreams, I let out a sound of joy! It’s a sign that I am now ready to release the old beliefs.
So there I am with teenagers. Whatever the underlying beliefs are about, I realize I have a long spiritual road in front of me to release the old beliefs.
“Once outside, I saw the security officer in a black officer uniform. The student I was with was casually dressed.” This is a key piece of my dream! Why?
I could have selected anyone to be outside in my teaching dream. I have selected another life who’s dressed like a security guard. This is a symbol of a group of masculine based belief effects I call “command/control”.
I have learnt that these masculine based beliefs are afraid of my feminine. As a result, I build spiritual, mental and physical walls around myself to protect me from myself, if this makes sense.
In my dreams, command/control is usually symbolized by a controller and a controlee. So the security guard is a symbol of the “controller”. The security guard and the woman I was with, are two of my other lives who are trying to teach me about myself and my beliefs.
Now I come to the action part of my dream…
“Once we got close to the front doors, that's when the student all the sudden started to act up.“ “We went outside and the student started running off and I had to go after her. Me and a school security guard finally caught the student.”
My other life begins to run away from the old beliefs. She’s acting as a controlee. She doesn’t want to face the controller. The security guard, i.e. the controller, runs after her, along with myself. We like order, i.e. masculine based control. So we want to “catch her”, which we did.
Note: All three of us are acting out the same belief displayed differently. The young woman is acting as the controlee. The security guard and I are the controllers. I likely have used this belief thousands or more times in my many other lives.
“Right at that moment, a 50 foot wave came from behind the high school.”
The 50 foot wave. I will take another brief side bar here and describe what I’ve learnt about numerology in my dreams and then return to the 50 foot wave.
When I first began to interpret dreams I though numerology was some fluffy thing people did. Then I learnt that it’s not “fluffy” because my dreams and those of others are full of it. It’s a way of sending us messages about ourselves. Numbers are part of the multiverse we live in.
I have my own theory about numerology in dreams. It doesn’t matter which reference or approach a dreamer takes to interpret it AS LONG AS THEY USE A WAY THAT RESONATES WITHIN THEM. I think that once the dreamer has their own numerology frame of reference, the dreams are arranged to convey to the dreamer the messages using their frame of reference.
For myself, I use “Angel Numbers – Joanne Sacred Scribes” (Google it). Here’s what she says for the number 50.
Number 50 is a combination of the vibrations and energies of number 5 and number 0. Number 5 resonates with healing, personal freedom, adventure and curiosity, opportunity and courage, making positive life choices and changes, adaptability and versatility, motivation and progress. Number 0 resonates with the attributes of eternity and infinity, continuing cycles and flow, and the beginning point. Number 0 stands for potential and/or choice, and represents the beginning of a spiritual journey and highlights the uncertainties that may entail and suggests that you listen to your intuition and higher-self as this is where you will find your answers. Number 0 reinforces, amplifies and magnifies the number it appears with; in this case of 50, the number 5.
Angel Number 50 brings a message from your angels to do with your health, wellbeing and lifestyle choices. Your angels want to help you to make positive, healthy lifestyle choices that will enhance and benefit you in many ways; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Be assured that your angels love and support you through these transitions. Allow your angels to guide and assist you.
Angel Number 50 also brings a message to live your life as it suits you personally, and do not allow your fears or other people’s opinions deter or hinder you. Have the courage to make positive changes that are in-line with your personal lifestyle choices and ensure that you remain true to yourself, always.
Thanks higher self for sending me this wonderful message! I will meditate on it.
Okay, it’s time to address the water. “Once the tsunami hit, it was still a beautiful day and the water was clean.”
Water is a symbol of my feminine. I’m in a dream where I’m coming out of a large set of masculine based belief compartments, i.e. the school. I’m here to learn something about myself. I’m now realizing it has to do with masculine based command/control beliefs. And what’s happening….
My feminine is washing over myself, spiritually speaking. It’s spiritually clean, i.e. cleansing. So what did I do?
“It immediately engulfed me, the student and security guard and anyone else outside. When I quickly resurfaced, I immediately turned around to face the school and started to fight against the current back to the school.“ I really liked the old beliefs. I want to go back to them, i.e. the school.
“Despite my best efforts, I couldn't get back and I watched in horror and sadness as the water completely engulfed the high school, knowing that no one could possibly be alive.”
I , in the dream, in my feminine, miss the point of the dream. I literally interpret it thinking all I knew is now lost and gone. I think that my feminine will kill me. It’s overwhelming my old masculine belief walls of the school.
I am worried that my other lives will be lost as well. I am actually laughing a bit as I write this. Why?
I and my other lives are captains of our own spiritual ships. It is up to each of us to make choices each and every moment. It’s also up to each of us to determine when we are going to physically die. I feeling the loss of control, think all is doomed, when in fact the opposite is the case. Recall I am in a teaching dream.
So now we come to the message of the dream…I create my own reality. What I think is literally what I create.
So, with my feminine overwhelming my old masculine beliefs “I felt myself feeling extremely tired, hopeless, and helpless. At the same time, seeing that there was no hope and also due to being exhausted, I gave up the fight and let myself be carried away and being submerged as well. My last thought was that I will not make it back, there was no point in fighting the current anymore and it was time to accept my fate and go down along with everyone else.”
Dreams are very, very powerful teaching instruments. A thought or belief instantly materializes. So there I am, feeling sorry for myself and I then resign myself to my “fate”.
Remember that I am with young students. So, I have a fair way to go, spiritually speaking to realize that my feminine won’t kill me. Good news- I am now in my feminine.
I will tell you a short story about me coming to know my feminine to give you an idea of how you’re doing on your own journey.
When I first began recording my dreams, I would frequently find myself in huge snow drifts, on glaciers, on ice and walking on snow. Imagine my surprise when I learnt this wasn’t a literal interpretation of season but me letting myself know that my feminine was frozen.
VERY, very slowly, I then began to work my way through all sorts of limiting masculine based beliefs. Slowly, my feminine began to thaw. Today, I am down to occasionally walking over a small patch of snow and swimming in the ocean.
So, you are making good spiritual progress. At least you’re in your feminine which is “melted”. Your higher self or over soul or whatever you want to call it is now shining down on you. It’s your choice what to do with this dream.
One can park it and move in on in one’s life. Or, one can spiritually awaken from such a powerful teaching dream and use it as a spring board into your new spiritual waters!
I don’t know you and I can’t tell you what to do, nor should I. If it was my dream here’s what I’d do.
• Learn to listen to my intuition – it’s my spiritual radar
• Keep a dream journal – each night I get a course on myself
• Learn to meditate – this is a way to connect with the greater me
On “learningfrommydreams” dot com is a page devoted to different meditation techniques. If you are interested, then go there and see if any resonate with you. If one does, then try it. A word of advice from me to you about meditation…
It requires consistent intent. If one can do it for 10-15 minutes each day, each week, each month, each year, they will be taken on a wonderful spiritual voyage. It’s also a good technique to use when one gets into stressful situations. I use this to instantly re-centre myself.
Regardless, I hope that some of what I’ve said above deeply resonates within you.
With kind regards,
Guy
