I get that it's a sensitive topic for you Anna, but you need to be more objective when you parent....some issues from your childhood inevitably will reflect on how you parent, they do for all of us....I get that. But you do have to separate what YOU need from what they need.

I believe that we need to raise children to be independent. Because we won't be here forever.
