I took the old cold air return grill off to clean when I was painting. Ooo the back of the grille was black n rusty and nasty. So I had a "brain storm" to just replace it........

Well, I guess folks can't measure right, because the landlord took the old grille in to Lowes and they didn't have the size in stock, so they had to order another one.......

Well, it still isn't the right size. But the "big question" is.. Does it matter which way the slats on the grill go.. Most, "NORMAL" grills slats go horizontal.. The new grill is not the right size so the landlords says it doesn't matter if the slats goes vertical. I said it does matter? Who is right??
