I think because the grille is the wrong size and is five inches too tall to fit the way it is supposed to fit, we have to turn it sideways to make a better fit, so then the slats will go horizontal instead of vertical. Even turning it side ways, it will be two and a half inches too long on both sides....It looks ugly..

My reasoning isn't logical I guess. Like air flow goes up not sideways. But after thinking about it, I guess my thinking is pretty silly........so I guess it doesn't make a difference and I am wrong....

It is ok to laugh at my reasoning. lol.. I have had one of those days///// I think it is called a "blond moment"...

oo I forgot to thank you for the link. I like the grills without slats better.. They are pretty. lol.. You think I should maybe suggest he get one of the grilles with out slats.. hmmm .. maybe not..
