It felt great. I enjoyed every minute of singing. The way my voice was working, the music we were singing. We even sang chant! (I sang chant for years in a women's choir so I know how very well!) That plus we are singing a couple of old pieces from the 1500s or 1600s- my favorite! Then, I said something about being able to sing the lower notes in one part- singing alto- and the director said, "Why don't we have this be a quartet and you can sing alto and so-and-so can sing soprano...?" So now I'd better learn it.

Not only that, but I took my youngest with me as he sings bass and has been in for a few months. We went downtown and killed some time beforehand. (The church is downtown.) We went into the record store- tons of LPs and tapes and CDs. Always nice to browse.
