Escapeartist, I did almost the same thing! Many, many years ago (at university, aka College: Round One <ding!>) So many pretty space pictures. Alas, the material is not artistic. The only thing I remember (besides my complete lack of aptitude for grasping so much motion in 3 dimensions) was learning the word "nadir". Little did I know how appropriate that word would become.

I'm among the "little things add up" crew, so I can't remember it that way. BUT. I do remember the most ridiculous price I paid -- $105 for a music cd(!!!) And to top it off, I positively gushed to the seller about how thrilled I was(!) This was on Ebay. I suspect in this bidding war, the other bidder was hypo/manic too. Seller's dream, eh?

That was part of a long episode (before dx, so clueless and unquestioning of the "rightness" of it all). I'd give anything to have all the money back instead of having the many colorful stories from it...
