Yes I have done it. Also, can be done on ongoing basis. It will be great the next time I move to know exactly what I have and need. I think it is okay to keep some favorite clothes. I just got rid of things that I didn't feel very connected with, and it has worked out well. I am a big konmari fan. Tish has a good point that if you lose weight you'll probably want to shop for new, trendier clothes.
