This is why I ran away from the mental health system at 17 and returned a year ago when I found a psychiatrist who won't put me on meds and won't inpatient me just because he disagree with me.
He will only inpatient me if I am about to kill me or someone else. He won't push meds, actually, I only take lamotrigine for post-psychosis recurrent depression.
