I was under a lot of stress a few years ago (and on lithium) and lost a great deal of hair. It was close to butt length and had to cut it to shoulder and it was thin but could have been worse. I took vitamins religiously and monitored my protein intake and reduced stress and my hair came back mostly. The ends are very thin but I cut them once a year and eventually it should even out. I will probably buy wigs if I lose my hair. Hats are another option.
