Glad to hear your TIA was mild and you are doing well. My mother had one a bit over a year ago and came out of it quite well.

As far as treatment for medical vs. psychiatric goes, I've always been treated well either way, but I have always used the same hospital and E.R. for psychiatric that houses the inpatient unit where I am admitted, and they are really trained well to work with psychiatric patients very respectfully.
