I moved to this smaller house so it would be harder to keep stuff (got rid of 75+ of the old stuff) and I've only been here 2 years now and it's too full (was at my old house 20 years). I even rent a storage unit but haven't been able to sort stuff to go there, all that's there (at exorbitant prices :-) is a few Christmas decorations!
