It's a coincidence this thread has re-surfaced just now, lol.

I am sitting here, listening to the very quiet keys of my husband's computer.
He's in the room and is typing on his laptop. It's quite irritating!

If my phone texting message sounds -- I might say a naughty word -- because sounds are going right through my Being today. (I have now silenced text alerts and as many other noises as possible.)

Hubby is across the room and when all is silent, I can hear his watch ticking -- too loudly! That quiet "tick" is banging through my brain!

I've been much more irritable lately.

Last week I thought I'd either have a stroke or would get into a brawl with a mother and grandmother, as they let their 5 year old daughter continue repeated very high-pitched screeching, at the top of her lungs all through dinner at a restaurant. I have never seen adults allow such behavior, especially at a restaurant. Staff was very apologetic. They could not reason with the adults. The adults in the group had told staff the child could do whatever she wishes.

And now -- hubby is quietly listening to his ipod, with earphones, across the room -- and it's way too loud for me! I will not nag him. He is trying so hard to be very considerate and I love his company. Yet -- wow! The watch is now ticking louder than the music! My ears and my brain!
