I've been sitting here, at a loss for words.
Partially because I am stunned. Here's the thing....

I am completely dismayed that hate and ignorance holds such sway. I just can't wrap my head around it. The world is complex! And apparently a frightening number of people think the solution lies in throwing a hate-spewing ignorant screaming meglomaniac at it! WTF?!

It's embarrassing. And profoundly disturbing.
God help us.
