Does lithium slow down hair growth? My hair used to grow very fast, but I had to put off a haircut for 2 months when I started taking Li. But when my hair grew fast, there was a lot of "loose hair" in the tub when I'd wash my hair. Now that I've been on Li, there is not so much hair in the tub.

And by the way, I've stopped taking Li now for other reasons. (It affect the parathyroid glands and I already have trouble with them, so I may have to have surgery on these glands. All I need is to have Li exacerbate the problem!!)
