Hello Lonely Warrior: I'm sorry you are struggling. I also tend to lack the energy, or perhaps in my case it's motivation, to take the necessary steps to heal. In my case, though, I presume it's for different reasons... mostly age related. I don't know if you see a therapist. But perhaps that would be a positive step, if you're not already doing so. Personally, I find reading mental health related material to be tiring. I simply lack the motivation & ability to concentrate that it takes to really absorb it. Plus I'm never convinced that it will really make any useful difference anyway.

One thing you might consider, if you're not already doing it, is to watch mental health related videos on YouTube for inspiration & ideas. A couple of excellent resources are PsychCentral's YouTube channel & California therapist Kati Morton. But there are others as well. Beyond that, of course, there are psych med's that may be helpful with raising your energy level, if you're not already taking anything. Diet & exercise can also play a role in raising your energy level. From my perspective, at least, there are no sure-fire answers to this question. You simply have to try out different things & see what works for you.
