As wildflowerchild25 said though, they may not admit you if you're only having thoughts without a plan and intent to carry through, so I'd only recommend the ambulance if you're 100% sure that you need to be hospitalized.

I've considered an ambulance before but haven't gotten that far over the edge yet. When my mom needed an ambulance it was around $1000. Not sure if it's the same cost for a different situation but we can't afford that kind of money.
I think I can hold off on the hospital for now. But I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thank you!
