(A friend of mine as well as a neurofeedback doctor suggested it too)

So I was wondering...what are some good grounding techniques I can use? I hope this is the right question for this forum, as I was thinking of doing it next time the episodes come on (yesterday I felt those symptoms along with this feeling of being punched in the chest. That's the best way I can describe it). Thank you for your time.
Im sorry but I cant tell you things that ....you....can use, only you and your own treatment providers can say what you can and cant do for your dissociation problems.

what I can tell you is what ......I....... do to ground when I am having my own dissociation problems....

I row around the lake in my canoe, bake apple pies, light my various fragrance containing candles, meditate, breathing exercises, yoga, ....

again only you and your own treatment providers can tell you what you can and cant use for grounding you when you have your dissociation problems.

my suggestion is continue to work with your therapist on your treatment goals, maybe even make a what can I do if kind of goal to work on with your therapist.
