I have been in and out of the hospital for the last few years. I was in in Feb for 3 weeks. I probably should have stayed longer but the place I go for therapy has a contract with the state to pay for hospitalization at the only mental health place in this area of the state and I had over stayed my welcome i.e. they didn't have anymore money to pay for me to be there so I left. I think that if I had been honest I could have stayed there a bit longer because my pdoc there was very concerned that I was being let out to soon. I had some serious acting out while in the hospital. I was in again at a different hospital 4 hours away in June. Glad to say that was my only time for my mental disorder I have been in the hospital this year. The longest I have been in was 5 weeks back in 99 because I was committed by my parents to be there.
