Yet, despite that, he seems to get along with and love his children. Maybe, like my dad, it’s because he sees them as extensions of himself? And they’ve learned how not to cross him.

Still, I think there may be hope. For instance, I contributed to the Sierra Club right after the election. Hopefully they can find a way to “come to him first” before engaging in court battles that probably won’t help. Or maybe if they do decide to go aggressively to court it can be settled amicably, too. Because if Trump sees the whole country and all the people in it as “his” – well, what’s the harm in that? We don’t have to see things that way. If the country succeeds, he succeeds. Likewise, if he succeeds, we succeed, as Obama has pointed out.
