cmorales' post captured my own concerns very well. Additionally, I've been shocked by the vitriol, panic and chest-beating flooding from both ends of the political spectrum on social sites like facebook. There might be a lot of tense family reunions this Thanksgiving! I am hoping that most people can work together on meaningful common causes and not disappear into ideological bunkers for the next four years - or equally as bad, passively resign themselves to changes they can't tolerate.
