I just had a phone appointment with my doctor and we agreed to keep my medication at its current dose and he agreed that it sounds like things are going in the right direction for me. I have my first appointment with a new therapist coming up on Thursday. I'm nervous but excited and hope we can make some progress together. All good things are happening for the most part. My doctor showed genuine concern over the election results and people's understandable reactions. He validated my concern about my son and said that their hospital was a hotbed of reactions after the results and people were noticeably and understandably distraught. It was a comforting conversation and while he did say he'd like to increase my Haldol he felt we were safe going with the low dose of 5mg for now. It was a good convo.
