I am in the US and this election result has not been good for my depression at all. My "normal" - anxiety, short temper, depression, exasperation - has now become everyone else's "normal" and I've had to go into self-care mode. I have even been sniped at by people on FB [who, like me, did not vote for this man] because I merely pointed out something factual in a conversation (like saying they posted an article with incorrect information). I've been much calmer since avoiding that place. My friends & family "back home" who voted for Trump are laughing in glee at people who are upset about the result while ignoring that many people in this country are genuinely concerned for their safety. It's just really, really, really ugly over here.
