Now, I can`t be the Type 2 diabetic on this whole board. I was just curious as to what people without insurance or medicare/caid do, when it comes time to purchase your insulin. I know Rite Aid charges my insurance company about $2000 bucks every month. Now due to deals with big pharma and all that crap, I know they pay no where near it but I am sure I would without insurance.

My doctor was telling the vials of Humalog are like 25 bucks at Wally World??? Can anyone verify this?? If it is a 100ml bottle, that would last me 1 day! 2 bottles 3 days. It just seems like it would be a lot cheaper just to give it all up and let nature take its course. I also take Lantus 36-48 units a night. So I could get 2 days out of one of those.

Please, please, anyone on here that uses insulin, please give me some input. I know I will never be able to pay for the stuff myself and SSDI we have been waiting now for 29 months now. If I have to quit taking it, I will just quit taking it. I don`t know if Humalog or Lantus would help any or they are going to pull the "you make to much crap" If I make too much, I would sure love to know where it is??????
